After months of using your Android phone, the android phone might slow down due to months of installing applications and downloading files.

fstrimThe problem lies in storage I/O becoming cluttered, Android 4.2 and below is unable to perform “garbage collection/recycling” on your data after it becomes deleted.

The fix comes with Android 4.3 and above. You can try downloading the app “LagFix (fstrim)” to perform garbage recycling manually for Android 4.2 and below. HOWEVER, this app will require ROOTING.

Of course, the other painful alternative is to perform a FACTORY RESET once every few months to speed up the phone.
